Expatriates Relieves

Beneficiaries of Relief:

Returning Residents whether married or unmarried.

Conditions to be met:

The beneficiary must have:

Lived abroad for at least one year


Ended his residence abroad by proving at least one of the following:

Canceling residence on the passport

Presenting a document that indicates termination of the work contract or resignation or dispensation from abroad or presenting a work contract in the kingdom authenticated by official authorities.

Presenting a house lease in the kingdom authenticated by local entities or a document that proves house ownership.

Presenting a certificate of acceptance of his sons in the Jordanian schools.

Relieved Materials:

The following materials are exempted provided that they are used:

Personal effects

Household Furniture and Equipment

Electronic appliances (not more than (2) items of the same kind)

Other exemptions:

The following materials are exempted provided that one piece of a kind is brought:

Personal computer

Satellite receivers

Video Camera

Office equipment

Musical instruments

Used carpets (not more than 50m)

Used Moquette (not more than 50m)

Clearance Houses:

You can clear your materials in the following houses:

Amman

Aqaba

Airport/Cargo

Airport/Passengers

Free Zone Zarqa

Ramtha

Omari

Mudawara

Karama

Jaber
